 ost
women at different seasons in our lives, and for different reasons,
want to be married, have been married, are married, or are between
marriages. We exist in a marriage-mode and marriage is mainly
on our masterful, manipulative minds. The same cannot always be
said for men. But since it takes two to make a marriage, we women
think, talk, read, write, plan and plot about the surreptitious
state of matrimony. |

The titillating
idea for this book came about one night over a cozy catch-up dinner
conversation at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel with a sophisticated
and savvy best girlfriend. We were diligently discussing and dicing
one of our favorite topics, the illusive, bewildering, complex
and perplexing subject of men and marriage.
Why Men Marry and Why Men Don't are two age-old complex questions
queried by inquiring single women everywhere. This book's categories
and uncanny subjective questions and answers were collected over
the constantly changing years through uncensored confidential and
chatty conversations, with a multiplicity of my wonderful women
friends of various ages and stages, dissimilar lifestyles and tastes,
varied backgrounds, contrasting experiences and different desires.
I certainly don't claim to have concluded all
the correct or possible answers, but I do attempt to pose some
pertinent questions to provoke insight into your personal answers,
self-examination and probably a few perverse smiles.
Sincerely Yours,
