hat makes a woman an expert on men? Being a good listener and having a sea of smart, savvy female friends equipped with experience and unimaginable savoir-faire.

Jean Sanders Torrey is a Kentucky-born horsewoman, model, writer and consultant. She lost her southern accent at Northwestern University without losing her inherent southern graces or impairing her inherent and gracious southern flair to finesse anything and make both men and women love it.

Jean Sanders Torrey, "love expert" author, gives classes at the elite Learning Annex just like Donald Trump and Dr. Phil. She has been featured on "Ask the Expert" segment of FOX TV Morning News and has done over 100 Radio and Television interviews. A former fashion editor of Movieline magazine, social columnist for Beverly Hills Today and personal shopper for Saks Fifth Avenue, she enjoys the position of Wedding Director at the landmark Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. Jean has a sharp, sophisticated sense of humor and enjoys the friendship of many wise, wealthy and worldly women.

A professional horseman, she taught Brooke Shields, Farrah Fawcett, Joanne Woodward and other celebrities to ride and jump. She assisted Joannne and her husband Paul Newman in setting up their 57-acre Far West Farms facilities in New York. A head-turning, traffic-stopping between-husbands, newly-available woman, Jean Sanders Torrey's sophisticated sense of humor is well exemplified by  Why Men Marry and Why Men Don't, her first book.
